ACE Explorers
Students will explore various lessons and activities to advance their knowledge of social and emotional skills and character building. They will be taught core values ike perseverance, courage honesty. generosity, kindness, fairness, commitment, positive attitude, tolerance, empathy and how to manage their emotions.
Creative Kids
Students will develop mental, social, and emotional health. They will have a chance to embrace their artistic side and get crafty while expressing their creativity.
Coding
This class will allow students the opportunity to explore and get a more in depth look at computer science. Students will be able to write the instructions using program language This class will also give them a chance build their problem solving and technical skills as well as build their skills in communication, creativity, math, writing, and confidence.
Mission: Steam
Students will engage in lessons and activities in Science, Technology. Engineering, Arts and Math, It will prepare students to become creators, thinkers, problem solvers, doers, innovators, and inventors. They will also attain skills such decision making, and leadership
ESPORTS
Students will learn the basics of electronic sports and be introduced to age appropriate video games. Esports promotes development of their hand-eye coordination as well as good communication, collaboration, and developing their social and emotional health. They will also have the opportunity to compete against one another while building the skills necessary to advance them to the Middle School level.
Cricut Design Space
Students will work with the Circuit Design Space, and create new and fun projects! The lessons are designed for beginners who are learning how to use the program, and different attachments for projects. Students will create projects that will range from labels for cups, binders, iron-on projects for book bags, shirts and cards for any occasion.
Fitness, Food And Fun
Students will be given the opportunity to be physically active, learn skills and behaviors conducive to maintaining physical activity. During this class students will also learn to make health decisions bout eating while they learn about nutrition.
Keyboard Invasion
Students will engage in an interactive experience while learning how to type. It will show them to correctly posture their hand on every key as they type and help build their muscle memory. They will experience a range of games, videos and different typing challenges that will make learning how to type fun.
Redbird Innovators
This class will offer students the opportunity to solve problems and create products while discovering the underlying math and science principles using TinkerCAD, Khan Academy and the Digital Design Process and more.
